Yard Supervisor

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Effective supervision of the Yard staff to ensure optimum efficiency of the operations function.
  
  Implement receiving and logistics procedures to control stock losses.
  
  Delivery and route planning.
  
  Maintain customer goodwill via quality service and timeous deliveries.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong leader and team builder.
  
  Good knowledge of Retail/Construction products and stock management procedures (Receiving, dispatch, stocking, picking)
  
  Someone with ethical standards that can perform under pressure.
  
  Good planning and organizing skills.
  
  A result driven individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12(NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  
  Logistics qualification would be an advantage.
  
  Minimum 3 years Supervisor experience within a similar role.
  
  Possession of a valid Code B Drivers License would be an added advantage.
  
  Must be willing to work retail hours.
