The Hydraulics Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, establishing new business relationships, and maintaining existing relationships. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for achieving sales targets and performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.

  • Monitor and report all pertinent market information relative to competitive activity, customer information and product performance.
  • Provide leads to the sales force in relation to hydraulic and machining opportunities in their assigned territories along with other opportunities to the appropriate dealer contact.
  • Responsible for selling products and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Ensure that the customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase.
  • Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities while able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
  • Candidate must be well presented, well organized, reliable, and focused on attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of local markets and industries is beneficial.



  • Must have grade 12.
  • Must have valid code CE drivers license.
  • Candidates coming from the Mining industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be computer literate: Proficient in Microsoft office, word, excel, outlook.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge or experience will be beneficial.
  • Minimum five years work experience in a similar position is required.
  • Ability to multi-task, priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Must have computer knowledge and good understanding of technology.
