Broll Namibia is currently looking for a Supervisor Building: Coast to join and support our dynamic team.



PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


To supervise and control building services i.e security, cleaning, equipment, parking as well as maintenance reporting of the building. Planning and monitoring the activities of contracted service providers as per Service Level agreements to uphold property standards. Assist in seeking new opportunities for vacant premises.


DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • Grade 12 certificate with a pass in English.
  • Namibia Estate Agents Board Certificate
  • Certificate in Operations Management.
  • Five years of related experience, with at least two years on Supervisory level.
  • Understanding of service level agreements & lease agreements.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and Risk Management.
  • Driving license code B
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations focusing on the maintenance, cleaning and security and ensuring contractors operate in the agreed terms of reference.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of facilities, assess problems and needs, and implement improvements in operations as discussed with management.
  • Arrange and coordinate all maintenance tasks flowing from the audits.
  • Identify and report security and/or safety conditions and concerns.
  • Identify and recommend procedures and methods to prevent property loss and damages.
  • Seek opportunities for new retail and office tenants.
  • Ensure leasing services are delivered on time to all tenants and customers.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance call outs and attend to tenant operational complaints.
  • Conduct regular OHSA inspections ensuring that requirements are effectively implemented and reported monthly.
  • Responsible to perform all ISO required maintenance checklists and review checklists of other team members.
  • Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.
