Occupational Health Nurse Job

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure a healthy workforce and provide professional and effective occupational health and primary health care services to Hangana Seafood in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in nursing (General Psychiatry and Community Health) and Midwifery Science.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council (Nursing Council of Namibia).
• At least five (5) years relevant nursing experience, with at least three (3) years in the Occupational Health Nursing environment and 2 years experience of supervisory responsibilities.
• Certificate in Pharmacotherapy and Dispensing License is essential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To ensure compliance with regulatory/ legislative requirements related to clinical operations.
• Provision of medical surveillance services .
• Provision of Occupational Health Services .
• Incapacity/Disability Case Management .
• Manage return-to-Work Program .
• Injury on Duty Management .
• Drive Operational Performance Interventions.
• Provide primary Health Care Services .
• Administer Clinic operations and manage guidelines within clinic area .
