PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


To coordinate all aspects of reservations efficiently and accurately to ensure a seamless booking process, facilitate exceptional guest experiences, and maximize revenue generation for all properties.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality, Sales, or Hospitality Management
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in front office, reservations preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proficient in MS Office, PMS, Profitroom and OPERA are essential.
  • Valid code B drivers license

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Handle incoming reservation enquiries from all channels and various market segments such as Travel Agents, Tour Operators, DMCs, Conference Organisers.
  • Create and maintain Individual and Group Reservations, and promptly processes any cancellations and amendments to bookings.
  • Process reservations accurately in accordance with the rates manual and terms & conditions.
  • Monitor waitlists and prioritize guests for room availability.
  • Check availability across all channels to ensure that all channels are in accordance with real-time availability.
  • Negotiate optimal prices for clients through appropriate channels and at the right time.
  • Create, maintain, and follow up on reservation records accurately.
  • Enter individual and group requirements accurately into the system, including notes, comments, traces, and alerts.
  • Pre-block group rooms with special requests in close collaboration with the properties to accommodate guests' needs effectively.
  • Monitor room availability across all properties and manage inventory effectively to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Implement pricing strategies to optimize room rates and drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to promote special offers and packages to enhance bookings.
  • Comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and organizational values.
  • Distribute STO rates to agents in collaboration with the sales team and apply correct rates to agents and direct guests.
  • Ensure reservations have deposits or full pre-payments in line with property payment terms.
