To provide functional support of the people and culture activities within the subsidiary, with emphasis on quality, productivity, and goal attainment to achieve the countrys business goals. The role encompasses supporting the Head of People and Culture in designing and supporting the Departments in initiating and implementing projects embedding the principles of the organization model into the way we all work and lead.

Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute on the Learning and Development objectives.
  • Effectively identify Learning & Development needs and deliver on the L&D strategy
  • Drive employee career-path opportunities with managers
  • Champion Performance Management processes
  • Support management and staff to obtain high levels of skilled employees.
  • Champion the Implementation of Employee Engagement initiatives and processes
  • Through research and sourcing, ensure that L&D material is outcome-based and aligned with the relevant objectives of Letshego Bank.
  • Manage and facilitate internal Talent Management processes
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company EE Training targets.
  • Measure the effectiveness of the applied Learning &Development solutions.
  • Ensure new hires undertake mandatory business orientation and training.
  • Manages the training budget as per laid down procedures.
  • Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact the role.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and timeously provide training reports.
  • Customize and embed the employee development component of the Letshego Bank Value Proposition
  • Provide monthly and Quarterly Reports on Learning, Talent, and Organisation Development activities to direct the Head


Knowledge and Skills Required of the Job Holder:

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology
  • Honours or Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent would be an added advantage
  • Talent management Certification or Balance Scorecard Certification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, process mapping, and building organizational capability.
  • Knowledge of the Balance Score Card Methodology approach
  • Coordinate and manage performance reviews of at all levels
  • Knowledge of L&D regulations in Namibia
  • Change Management knowledge and Project Management implementation & evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal mediums
  • Facilitation, presentation, and instructor skills
