Description

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our company's automotive glass products to automotive dealerships, repair shops, and insurance companies, as well as our building glass products to architects, contractors, and developers. The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in both sectors within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within both the automotive and building glass industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive dealerships, repair shops, insurance companies, architects, contractors, developers, and other key decision-makers to promote our automotive and building glass products and services.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers about our automotive and building glass products, features, and benefits.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers, negotiating terms and conditions as needed to close sales.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to win new business, negotiate pricing, and manage contract negotiations to maximize sales revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and address customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and development in both sectors.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while conducting sales activities and interacting with customers.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in both the automotive and building glass industries, with a focus on automotive glass products and building glass products.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, principles, and best practices, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in both sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and internal stakeholders in both industries.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet with customers, attend meetings, and participate in industry events in both sectors.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
