Junior Technician: Installations And Maintenance

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a Junior Technician: Installations and Maintenance based in Windhoek.

Roles and responsibilities:

• To install, commission and maintain all Paratus equipment (Video Conferencing, Cabling and VSAT)
• On site planning of installations
• Pre-Sales site inspections
• Installation and commissioning of power requirements for infrastructure sites.
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
• Ability to manage installations effectively and meet firm deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Willing to be on standby over weekends and work out of town.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Grade 12
• N+ and A+
• General IT experience and PC literate
• 1 years voice tech experience
• 1 year experience with installations of Video Conferencing Systems, Cabling
• Drivers license
