Position summary
Introduction
As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft operating systems and cloud platforms, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. The roll will operate in a multi-country and multi-site environment, providing a 24x7x365 service to the group companies. This position may require the System Engineer to travel to each of the countries where the CIH Group have offices and/or subsidiaries. The position may also be required to travel for training purposes.
Job description
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions.
Administer and optimize Windows Server environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Ensure the security and compliance of systems through regular monitoring and updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving IT-related problems.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement best practices for system automation and configuration management.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.
Minimum requirements
Experience/Knowledge & Skills
3-5 Years hands-on experience as System Administrator/Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V, Citrix or VMware.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications, such as MCSE or Azure certifications, are a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
