Description

• The Faculty Officer serves as a key player in the WHTCs academic function, providing essential administrative support to faculty members and acting as a crucial link between students, faculty, and various administrative functions.

• The position plays a pivotal role in admissions and enrolment, ensuring compliance with faculty criteria and registration requirements. Furthermore, the position provides critical support with examinations and assessment processes within the faculty, working closely with respective officials to ensure quality delivery.

• Additionally, the Faculty Officer participates in planning, budgeting, resource utilisation, and facilitating effective stakeholder engagements. This multifaceted role implements quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with policies and operational procedures.

• The Faculty Officer also undertakes an array of general administrative tasks that ultimately enhance the overall educational experience within the faculty.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as business administration, education, NQF Level 8.
• An additional qualification in Health Management is an advantage.
• Five (5) years of industry experience, of which two are at a similar level.
• Valid Code B drivers license.
• Advanced ICT, including Microsoft packages and data management systems.
• Knowledge of the academic (tertiary) industry, environment, or curriculum.
• Understanding of university management systems, e.g., ITS
