We are seeking dynamic and highly motivated Sales Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will sell retail products, goods, and services to customers, working closely with them to identify their needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. You will also be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing merchandisers to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer service levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of merchandisers, ensuring effective training, motivation, and performance management.
  • Execute daily sales objectives and promotional plans to meet agreed sales standards.
  • Manage stock control and returns, adhering to FIFO principles and return policies.
  • Achieve sales volume targets and support price monitoring and merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as company policies and competition law.
  • Collaborate with key departments such as Key Accounts, Sales Operations, and Demand Chain to enhance customer service.
  • Administer sales reports, pricing claims, and control promotional assets and equipment.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with sales systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly adaptable, with a strong capacity for stress tolerance and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to live by the company's vision, values, and maintain personal credibility.

Requirements

  • A Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, or Sales, or at least five years of experience in Field Sales or Key Accounts within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven sales and marketing skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Must possess a Code B Namibian driver's license.
  • Experience in applying company policies, standards and sales procedures.
  • Computer experience in Sales Systems will be an added advantage

  • Utilize SAP functionality
