Onsite mechanic on a mining site .
Extensive experience in working on Scania machinery .
If you don't have experience in Scania Machinery do not apply
Mechanic, Mining Machinery is expected to perform include:
Repairing services and overhauling drilling, scraping, cutting, winding, hoisting and other mining machinery for correct performance.
Getting defective machine or equipment removed from surface or underground working place to repair section, using slippers, roller, hoists, etc.as necessary.
Examining faulty equipment to ascertain nature and location of defects.
Testing reassembled equipment making necessary adjustments for optimum performance.
Checking, adjusting and lubricating equipment periodically and performing other tasks to keep equipment in good working order.
Undertaking minor repairs at working place.

Artisan mechanical qualifications.
