Are you passionate about efficiency and ensuring products reach their destination safely and on time? Our client is seeking a skilled Loadmaster to join their dynamic team and play a vital role in their loading operations. Here's what you'll be doing:

Efficient Loading: Safely and efficiently load dry food products onto trucks or containers, ensuring adherence to weight distribution guidelines and product handling protocols.

Productivity Management: Lead a team of two pickers and a forklift operator to achieve loading targets of up to 9 tons per hour, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.

Quality Control: Monitor product quality during loading processes, ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are dispatched for distribution.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures in all loading activities, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries to personnel and products.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and motivation to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to productivity and efficiency.

Inventory Management: Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking of product quantities loaded and maintain inventory integrity.

Communication: Liaise with logistics coordinators, truck drivers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loading operations and timely delivery of products to customers.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of loading activities, productivity metrics, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures, providing regular reports to management as required.

Requirements

1. Experience: Proven experience as a Loadmaster or similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry or logistics sector.

2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

3. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating loading equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

4. Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

5. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy loads, as well as work in various weather conditions and environments.

6. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

7. Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address issues to ensure smooth operations.

8. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities and demands as required.
