Manager Key Accounts

Location: Windhoek

Grade: D3

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


The incumbent is responsible for implementing, driving and evaluating Key Accounts strategy and the overall effective management of the Namibia Dairies Key Accounts business, in order to enhance stakeholder relations, drive volume growth and contribute to the Namibia Dairies sales target.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Bachelors degree in Sales/ Marketing
  • 8-10 years experience in Sales and Marketing
  • 5 years experience in Supervisory position will be an added advantage.
  • MS Office, Knowledge in distribution, Marketing skills,
  • Knowledge of cold chain in FMCG environment will be an advantage.
  • Valid code B1 Drivers license

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:


  • Develop key account sales and marketing strategy .
  • Develop annual business plans for Key Accounts and each major retailor.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate sales and marketing activities with key outlets.
  • Negotiate long term trading agreements with allocated key accounts to drive profitable growth of Namibia Dairies brands.
  • Monitor report and recommend action to contain competitive action.
  • Responsible for delivering on agreed Namibia Dairies Key Account volume targets.
  • Plan, gain agreement and sell in approved Namibia Dairies trading terms.
  • Liaise with regional sales teams for Key Account coverage where local conditions do not warrant Key Account resources.
  • Manage the achievement of all Key Account retailers volume, promotion implementation and distribution objectives.
  • Manage achievement of QDVP4 sales effectiveness standards by sales force in agreed accounts.
  • Maintain operational standards within allocated Key Account teams are in line with the agreed Company criteria.
  • Manage the achievement of planned coverage and call frequency in allocated Key Account trade.
  • Ensure that sales training and development programs are up to date and reflect the needs of individuals.
  • Responsible for the performance management, coaching and mentoring of reporting staff.
