Junior Voice & Mobile Core Engineer

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for one Junior Voice & Mobile Core Engineer in Windhoek.

The position entails the following:

• Responsible for activities concerning Operations, Maintenance, Scaling, Troubleshooting, Integration and Automation of the following core areas:
  • Voice Core Elements for Interconnects
  • Voice Core Elements for Customer Services
  • SMS Core Elements
  • PCRF Core Elements
  • Mobile Core Elements
• Ability to work with the Paratus team of operators, specialists and engineers to achieve the desirable outcome concerning the above.
• Making the necessary recommendation to management to optimized areas of responsibility.
• Always implement or improve in area of responsibility to constitute continuous optimization and scaling.
• Acting as an expert in the areas of responsibility to contribute at detailed technical levels.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Bachelor/Honours Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology related Field
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a wide range of technology related fields, preferably IP, Security, Voice and Video
• CCNA / CCNP Added advantage
• Valid drivers license and own transport.
• Grade 12.
