The primary purpose of the Human Resources Manager position is to oversee all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to support the overall business strategy, managing the recruitment and selection process, handling employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws regulations. The HR Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's goals by effectively managing its people.
Job Specifications:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee performance management and development programs.
- Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage payroll and employee relations.
- Manage the HR budget and track key HR metrics.
- Manage and drive organizational culture initiatives and change management.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license + own car
- Namibian citizen
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years senior managerial experience
- Profound knowledge and experience in payroll and employee benefits, VIP Sage Payroll experience is a distinct advantage
- Demonstrable expertise in handling Trade Union matters
- Proven experience in training and development initiatives
- Ability to perform effectively under high pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
