Buying Clerk

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Replenish stock from suppliers for branch to achieve 100% stock availability.
  
  Follow up on overdue/outstanding Purchase Orders.
  
  Negotiate better prices and discounts by building solid supplier relationships.
  
  Arrange transport for respective branches stock orders.
  
  Perform sales and merchandising when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  
  Minimum 3 years experience as a Buyer in the Building or Retail industry.
  
  Computer literate knowledge of the Kerridge computer system will be an advantage.
  
  Prior sales experience will be an advantage.
