Purpose of the Job The Business Analyst is fundamental in facilitating the achievement of Letshego Namibia's strategic objectives. To drive operational excellence and strategic alignment by leveraging data-driven insights and innovative solutions, ultimately enhancing customer experience, optimizing business processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic banking environment.

1. Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Actively participate in strategic planning and execution to align operational activities with organizational goals, emphasizing process automation and efficiency enhancement.

Analyze processes, gather requirements, and propose solutions that meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.

Serve as the custodian of the Operations Branch Dashboard/Scorecard and key systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Office and Manager Operations to address operational challenges, contribute proactively to the division's performance enhancement.

Ensure successful development and implementation of operational procedures and processes to improve customer service and staff productivity, in alignment with organizational expectations and goals.

Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key/strategic service providers related to Core Banking Applications/Systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreed-upon standards.

Monitor the performance of branch/department administration environments, emphasizing risk containment, compliance with banking regulations and processes and continuous assessment of strategies aimed at optimizing operational efficiencies within the organization, promoting innovation and improvement.

Maintain up-to-date processes and documentation, ensuring appropriate utilization by relevant departments and supporting innovative solutions to enhance customer experience and staff productivity.

Champion innovation through the continuous assessment and improvement of business processes, focusing on moving towards automated processes such as eForms and eReports.

Oversee the monthly updating and reporting of the Dashboard/Scorecard, monitoring the performance of systems/applications and addressing any identified risks or compliance issues.

Drive the development and implementation of 'Simple customer acquisition processes' and ensure consistency in systems processes across Letshego branches and the network.



Required Knowledge and Skills:

Matric with 25 Points and above

.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Certified Business Analyst Professional would be an advantage.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role within the banking or financial services industry.

Ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions.

Strong systems and financial solutions experience with a good understanding of business processes and operations.

Familiarity with Local Clearing and Payment systems compliance, regulations, and standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
