Digital Transformation and Business Support Manager

Purpose To lead and drive digital transformation initiatives while supporting various business functions. To strategically leverage technology, innovation, data analytics, and business acumen to optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency to generate sustainable growth. Align digital strategies with business objectives to facilitate organizational change and ensure the successful adoption of digital solutions across the enterprise while creating a culture of innovation.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the digital transformation strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Engage, measure and incentivize the workforce to drive successful digital transformation
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and implement digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experience
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization and innovation
• Led a team of analysts responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for digital transformation projects and initiatives
• Develop and implement standardized methodologies, tools, and templates for business analysis activities to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and initiatives
• Oversee the development strategy and execution of digital projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Manage change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of digital solutions across the organization, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital initiatives, tracking key metrics and KPIs to measure the impact on business outcomes
• Act as a liaison between business units and Technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with overall digital strategy
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices
• Provide strategic guidance and support to business units in leveraging digital tools and technologies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and drive revenue growth
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the organization to drive sustainable business growth.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices in digital transformation and business support.

Knowledge and Skills Required of the Job Holder

• Matric with 25 Points and Above
• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in digital transformation/strategy preferred
• Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, preferably in a managerial or leadership role
• Practical exposure to project management, change management, and digital initiatives is valuable
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive change, and achieve measurable results
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and measure performance
• Experience in change management methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements in the Namibian industry
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution in a dynamic environment
• Understand emerging technologies likebig data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things, and cybersecurity
