Purpose:
Lead the packaging team to execute the production plan efficiently, reduce operational costs, maintain quality standards, and achieve production targets in line with Good Manufacturing Practices, Factory goals, and ISO standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- National Production & Operations Management Diploma or Diploma in Food Science
- 3-5 years FMCG experience
- Food processing and packaging environment experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- FMCG Dairy experience (Preferred)
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan and schedule fillers based on the production plan.
- Collaborate to address inefficiencies in production.
- Manage resources, including machinery, manpower, and materials.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Warehouse team for timely packaging material delivery.
- Monitor production lines, address technical malfunctions and close NCRs.
- Hand over daily production plan to the team and ensure proactive scheduling.
- Monitor packaging lines for efficiency, quality, and adherence to schedule.
- Maintain production records and ensure GMP compliance.
- Review machine operators' quality checks and records
- Lead shift handover meetings and record relevant data.
- Monitor resource usage and complete supervisory check sheets.
- Report production variances, non-conformances, and challenges
- Record and report safety incidents
- Conduct finished goods stock counts.
- Perform housekeeping and H&S inspections.
- Train staff on Food Safety Assurance
- Ensure PPE and hygiene compliance.
- Monitor raw materials and chemicals storage.
- Enforce quality standards and discipline.
- Manage and mentor reporting staff
- Identify training and development opportunities.
- Schedule, attend, and lead operational team meetings.
- Manage leave, overtime, and expenses within the production department.
