WHAT WILL YOU DO:
-
Replenish stock from suppliers for the branch to achieve 100% stock availability. Negotiate better prices and discounts by building solid supplier relationships.
Engage with the Procurement Department regarding proposed listing of new suppliers based on price, service and quality.
Provide customers with advice on appropriate products required and/or receive requisitions from Salespersons for products to be ordered.
Follow up on overdue and outstanding Purchase Orders.
Arrange transport for stock orders.
Always provide excellent customer service with emphasis on Customer satisfaction through service excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.Minimum 2 years experience as a Buyer in the Building or Retail industry.
Must be a fluent communicator in English.
Computer literate knowledge of the Kerridge computer system will be an advantage.
