Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Foreman to lead their workshop operations. If you are a hands-on professional with a passion for maintaining a well-organized and efficient workspace, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Position Overview: As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop activities, maintaining a tidy yard, and coordinating warehouse operations. This role involves inventory monitoring, procurement, and ensuring proper storage and organization. In addition, you will play a crucial role in picking and packing equipment for various jobs and projects. The successful candidate will also handle administrative tasks such as requesting quotes, placing orders, and receiving stock. BE License is compulsory and forklift experience will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  1. Workshop Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining a clean and organized workshop and yard.
  2. Inventory Monitoring and Procurement: Keep track of inventory levels, initiate procurement processes, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
  3. Warehouse Organization: Implement efficient warehouse organization strategies for optimal space utilization.
  4. Storage Coordination: Coordinate the storage of equipment and materials, ensuring accessibility and safety.
  5. Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick and pack equipment for jobs and projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Tool and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all tools and vehicles are properly operated, maintained, and in good working condition.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative responsibilities, including requesting quotes, placing orders, and receiving stock.
  8. Safety Compliance: Uphold safety standards within the workshop and warehouse.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or similar role.
  2. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  3. Experience in inventory management, procurement, and warehouse operations.
  4. Ability to coordinate storage efficiently and ensure a neat and well-maintained workspace.
  5. Picking and packing experience for jobs and projects.
  6. Administrative proficiency, including requesting quotes and managing stock.
  7. BE License is compulsory and forklift experience will be considered advantageous.
  8. Must be immediately available
