Position summary
Introduction
To effectively manage and control the Digital Channels Sales & Support functions (BPS, Internet Banking and CellPhone Banking) in order to contribute to the attainment of Bank Gaborone financial targets and contribute towards operational excellence in the digital channels space, through continuous improvement and excellent customer service delivery. The incumbent is responsible to for the management of good service delivery levels directly to clients as well as to all Bank Gaborone Branches.
Job description
- Planning and organizing of the Digital Channels Sales & Support departments processes and workflow to ensure efficient use of all resources
- Leadership and guidance to reporting employees
- Initiate reactive sales strategies to rectify growth challenges
- Initiate cross selling strategies in conjunction with branches
- Manage the growth of client numbers on BPS, Internet Banking and CellPhone Banking
- Do client and service growth analysis of the Electronic Channel Department as well as for Branches
- Application of due diligence in terms of working methodically and accordingly to define processes and procedures
- Ensure that the Digital Channels Sales & Support departments provide an efficient and competitive service to clients and branches
- Assisting high profile clients with service queries
- Review rate reduction requests from merchants in line with the policy
- Perform quarterly regional visits to branches and merchants for retention and relationship enhancements
- Monitoring of all the Digital Channels Sales & Support departments processes and administration related to Sales and Service delivery
- Provide innovative process improvements and product/channel initiatives in the area of merchant acquiring, Internet banking and CellPhone banking
Minimum requirements
- Degree in Business Related Courses
- Five (5) years general banking experience, 3 of which should preferably have been in electronic banking environment
- Minimum of 3management experience
