PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To maintain, monitor, and repair all electronic, electrical, and mechanical for the processing & utilities departments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Diploma in Technical engineering and 3-5 years experience in a technical field
Preferred Advantageous
- FMCG specific experience
- A National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform correct fault finding on machinery & equipment in case of breakdowns.
- Perform accurate and correct processing during maintenance daily.
- Perform accurate equipment testing before handover to process owners by completing a checklist.
- Assist in diagnosing unresolved events leading to ineffective operations and determining the root cause.
- Organize and implement a plan of action and provide feedback on PMS (Plant Maintenance Schedules) to Manager Maintenance Utility & Processing
- Participate successfully in Projects or new machine installation planning.
- Submit daily report on root cause analyses on breakdowns/equipment to Manager: Utility & Processing
- Perform accurate repairs/unplanned maintenance in equipment.
- Provide feedback on PMS (Plant Maintenance Plan) or to relevant parties as required.
- Attend to relevant tests on utility equipment; TDS, Water, Steam, etc., and report any out-of-spec processes and take corrective actions.
- Create work orders and reserve parts for repair or unplanned maintenance.
- Perform department-relevant checks and preventative maintenance according to set maintenance plans.
- Coordinate and check work orders handed down to department artisans.
- Implement and provide on-the-job coaching to apprentices & artisans.
- Coach, monitor, and support Utility operators while performing maintenance tasks.
- Respond swiftly during callouts to provide electrical and mechanical assistance to shift artisans.
