Description
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Bookkeeper/Creditors Clerk on behalf of our esteemed client. This position offers a fixed-term opportunity for three months, requiring an immediate start. The selected candidate will be instrumental in maintaining efficient financial operations, with a focus on creditors control, XERO processing, inventory management, and warehouse oversight.
Responsibilities:

Creditors Control:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
- Handle communication and queries with suppliers.

XERO Processing:
- Proficiently navigate and utilize XERO for financial transactions.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in the system.

Inventory Control and Warehouse Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and perform regular stock reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock movements and ensure accuracy.
- Implement efficient warehouse management practices.

Reconciliations:
- Conduct reconciliations for creditors, stock, and other relevant accounts.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Month-End Processing:
- Assist in month-end financial closing procedures.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.

Import Clearing and ASYCUDA:
- Facilitate the import clearing process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Utilize ASYCUDA for customs clearance and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and creditors control.
- Proficiency in XERO accounting software.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Experience in warehouse management is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of import clearing processes and ASYCUDA is advantageous.
- Available to start immediately.
