PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment on lodge. Perform preventative maintenance on lodge equipment according to PMP schedule. Lead the team and assist with work as delegated by the General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
- Trade Diploma Electrical
- A minimum of 5 years experience in general repairs and maintenance
- Hospitality/lodge experience will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literacy : MS Office, MICROS, Materials Control .
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing or construction repairs.
- Drivers license
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Carry out daily routine inspections and identify problems.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all lodge equipment, machinery, and buildings per safety standards.
- Install and repair electrical equipment as per specifications.
- Plan and assign tasks to team and inspect completion and quality of work.
- Complete maintenance requests from all departments daily.
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
- Understand and operate advanced electrical and plumbing systems.
- Keep a daily record of completed and pending jobs cards and provide regular reporting updates.
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and discuss with the General Manager.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
- Check and confirm whether the workshop environment are tidy and in compliance with (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Ensures that correct PPE is always worn.
