We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Hospitality Manager focused on new business initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our hospitality ventures, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving growth in this key sector.
- Manage budgets effectively to optimize financial performance.
- Maintain accurate statistical and financial records.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance work, events and room bookings.
- Liaise with maintenance and other specialist contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Meet and greet guests, addressing their queries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle customer complaints and queries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the hospitality sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative hospitality services.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of new hospitality projects, maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and competition to stay ahead in the dynamic hospitality landscape.
- You may need to work shifts, irregular hours, and at evenings and weekends.
- You may also need to be on-call (available to respond to emergencies at short notice).
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management, with a focus on operations and customer service.
- Strong financial management skills and experience in maintaining records.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Previous experience in new business development is a plus.
