Are you an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a knack for managing CHEP pallet transactions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a CHEP Controller. As a CHEP Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily processing, reconciliation, and forecasting of CHEP pallets, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Processing of CHEP Pallets:

    • Issuing and receiving CHEP pallets on SAP and myCHEP.
    • Control and processing of cross-border CHEP transactions on myCHEP.
    • Control, processing, and follow-up of customer CHEP issues.
  2. CHEP Requirement Forecast:

    • Collaborate with planning and production teams to forecast CHEP pallet requirements.
    • Conduct daily SAP and MyCHEP reconciliations.
    • Perform stock takes and sorting of CHEP pallets.
  3. Cross-Border CHEP Transactions:

    • Manage transfer-in and transfer-out transactions on MyCHEP.
    • Reconcile transactions using the Recon dashboard.
    • Follow up on transfers to be captured and ensure acceptance in MyCHEP.
  4. Customer CHEP Issues:

    • Implement and follow customer pallet procedures, especially for cross-border transactions.
    • Manage pallet control notes for local deliveries and loss control.
    • Follow procedures outlined in the Inventory Management System (IMS).
  5. CHEP Requirement Forecast:

    • Work closely with planning to send weekly forecasts.
    • Determine how many pallets are needed for production and order accordingly.
    • Conduct quality spot checks after sorting.
    • Maintain CHEP pallets in the pool and keep CHEP account as low as possible.
  6. Weekly SAP and MyCHEP Reconciliations:

    • Run reports in SAP and MyCHEP to ensure accurate tracking.
    • Monitor system stock levels and physical stock levels.
  7. Cycle Counts:

    • Conduct cycle counts three times per week.
    • Lead weekly cycle counts with assistance from team leaders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in CHEP pallet management and control.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MyCHEP systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
