Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Lower Primary School Teacher to join our client's team at a community school in Sossusvlei, Namibia. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to providing quality education to young learners and making a positive impact in the community. Class numbers are small averaging between 10 and 12 per class.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum
Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the success of the school and its students
Participate in school events and activities as required
Requirements
Valid teaching certification
Experience teaching primary school students with a background active pedagogies will be given priority
Passion for education and a commitment to student success
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the Namibian education system and curriculum is a plus
Accommodation will be provided.
The area is remote with limited access to town, so it is vital that the candidate does research to understand the context.
