Technical Sales Representative (Mining And Industrial Supplies)

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Representative to service and grow our national market share in the mining ,manufacturing and industrial industry. The position will be based in Swakopmund and you will be responsible for the sales of industrial machinery to relevant businesses across Namibia.

• Grow and maintain a strong client base.
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders and maintain customer records.
• Visit establishments to evaluate needs and promote products.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers on products.
• Liaise with customers on questions about products, prices , availability.
• Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries.
• Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future business.
• Be a professional brand ambassador that represents the company's brand and values.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar sales role within the local mining or industrial industry.
• A proven track record of experience in demonstrating ,promoting and selling products or services as well as providing high quality customer support services.
• Top notch technical knowledge of mining , manufacturing and industrial industry related equipment.
• Working knowledge of sales quoting, ordering, invoicing and issuing of stock operating procedures , processes and ERP systems or software.

Qualifications and other requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate (A technical trade or Post Matric Certificate in a technical trade or sales or anyrelated field will be an added advantage.
• Fully Computer literate in MS Office (Exposure to ERP systems will be an added advantage).
• Valid drivers license.
• Namibian citizen, domicile or permanent residence.
