Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, with a strong focus on recruitment, industrial relations, and business development. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can lead a team, optimize processes, and contribute to the company's growth and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition.

Industrial Relations:

  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy workplace culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR to handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion in collaboration with the management team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations.

Supervision and Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of operations staff, ensuring they meet performance goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to improve team productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, industrial relations, and business development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software/tools.
