Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, with a strong focus on recruitment, industrial relations, and business development. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can lead a team, optimize processes, and contribute to the company's growth and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
Industrial Relations:
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy workplace culture.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with HR to handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion in collaboration with the management team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations.
Supervision and Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of operations staff, ensuring they meet performance goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to improve team productivity.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in recruitment, industrial relations, and business development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software/tools.
