Restaurant Manager

Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Windhoek for a Restaurant Manager . The Restaurant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including managing staff, scheduling, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized establishment. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for cultivating a positive and inclusive team culture, deliver a memorable guest experience, and ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant.

Requirements

• Prior customer service or hospitality experience in a similar role
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to delivering exceptional guest experience
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant operations software
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus, but not required
• Proof of Namibian citizenship or permanent residency
• PAYE registration certificate
• Certificate of Conduct (not older than 3 months)
• Drivers license Code B (PDP advantageous)
• Minimum of 5 years work experience at management level in the service industry or tourism & hospitality.
• Matriculation certificate (minimum of 25 points with C symbol for English & Mathematics).
• Microsoft computer literacy with FOH & BOH experience in Pilot POS software or similar is a definite requirement.
• Proficient business report writing & reading skills in English.
