POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The incumbent is responsible to execute assigned schedules and general garden and grounds tasks in a prompt, safe and efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Execute daily work schedules as instructed by supervisor
Keep the allocated areas clean and tidy at all times
Keep the lawn and edges neatly trimmed and green at all times
Weeding of flower beds and grass
Ensure that tools issued are kept safe and well looked after
Report all technical faults to supervisor
Ensure that work area and storerooms are kept neat and tidy at all times
Landscaping where instructed
Neatness and cleanliness of the garden and its surroundings
Watering of the gardens and operating irrigation and sprinkler systems
Pruning of trees and shrubs as per instruction
Greet customers / guests in a friendly manner at all times
Adheres to the grooming standards of the company
Perform any general additional tasks as and when the need may arise
Adhere to company code of conduct and house rules at all times
Dusting and brooming of areas surrounded by gardens
Report all pests and infestations to the Head Gardener
To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotels policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
