Accountant And Tax Group Manager – (Walvis Bay)

Description

Will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the organization's tax operations. This includes ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities, and providing strategic guidance on tax matters to support the company's financial goals.

• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Maintain tax balances on general ledger
• Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Preparation Annual Financial Statement

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)
2. A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Taxation
3. Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant and/or Tax Manager
4. Knowledge of GAC and tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
5. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
6. Valid Driver's License
