Description

Manages consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities to ensure consolidated reporting to support companys management in business decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages companys budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX level and drives the yearly budget exercise and forecast with line management.
  • Reports variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin or investment/contract to provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity.
  • Analyzes, recommends and approves investment or profitability for complex files or projects (e.g. infrastructure, new products, promotions) and selects those that support companys strategy and optimize its commercial position.
  • Develops financial plans, organizes product structure in a business logic way and supports/advises in decision making, investment and customer offers.
  • Initiates, coordinates and tracks financial processes improvements and ensures the respect for financial standards and best practices.
  • Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field.
  • Relevant Masters degree in Accounting or any related field will be an added advantage.
  • Formal Training in Banking Law/Regulation.
  • Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in similar position.
  • Experience in Auditing will be an added advantage.

  • Good accounting and financial management skills
  • Good industry Knowledge
  • Good reconciliation skills (data entry /documentation)
  • Environmental / industry analysis
  • Financial analysis / interpretation
  • Database Management Systems (DBMS)
