POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Take orders and serve food and beverages to patrons at tables in a dining establishment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Grade 12
- Waitron experience at a 4* or 5* hotel
- Knowledge of Food and Beverages
- Wine knowledge or courses attended will be a distinct advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Welcome guests and escort them to their tables
- Drive hosting culture and maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
- Taking orders and engagement knowledgeably regarding food and beverages
- Upselling and recommending additional menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Attend to special requests or dietary restrictions from customers and communicate with the kitchen team
- Adhere to food safety and health standards to ensure well-being of guests
- Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prompt clearing of tables and setting tables for the following guests according to the standard
- Manage the billing system and ensure accurate billing and cost allocations
- Adhere to the grooming standard
- Participate in stock takes on all OS&E and movement of assets at all times
- Keep an up-to-date costing on all beverage menus
- Keeping an up-to date costings on all beverage menus
