PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The incumbent in the position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Mokuti Bars (Enotha Bar, Oshana Pool Bar and Banquet Bars) in accordance with mission and objectives of O&L Leisure and as spelt out in all promises to the GUESTS and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Grade 12 with English and Mathematics
• Certificate in Food and Beverage/Hospitality Management
• 2 years experience as a Bar Supervisor
• Beverage/Wine knowledge
• Mixology / Sommelier / Butler / Barista Training
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Knowledge of OPERA will be a distinct advantage

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Management of purchases, inventory levels & ensuring that beverage stocks do not run out
• Keeping an up-to date costings on all beverage menus
• Participate in stock take on all beverage inventories/stocks
• Carry out monthly stock takes on all OS&E
• Control the movement of assets at all times
• Manage the billing system in accordance with the contractual agreements with suppliers, GUESTS and customers.
• Drive the HOSTING culture within the TEAM at all times ensuring that the leader plays an exemplary role in HOSTING
• Motivate the TEAM at all times and create the best employment experience
• Ensure that there is always conformity/compliance to policies and procedures
