PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for greeting and welcoming all guest to the Lodge and assist guests with their luggage on arrival/departures, ensuring that the highest standards of hospitality and service values are always demonstrated in accordance with the brand promise.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Grade 12
- 1- 2 years porter/concierge experience in a 4-star establishment
- A code B drivers license will be considered an added advantage.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Checks the daily arrival list for guests.
Be present at the reception area to assist guests.
Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
Tag luggage with correct guest information.
Ensure that accurate room briefing is done with guests.
Ensure that the guest has verified all luggage is accounted for.
Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful information service.
Assist with reception duties as and when required
Perform reasonable duties as and when requested by management.
Ensure that all mise-en-place is done prior to guest arrival
Adhere to grooming standards
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of all golf carts
Works closely with all relevant departments to ensure that high standards of service are delivered.
