Description
Manages consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities to ensure consolidated reporting to support companys management in business decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Manages companys budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX level and drives the yearly budget exercise and forecast with line management.
- Reports variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin or investment/contract to provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity.
- Analyzes, recommends and approves investment or profitability for complex files or projects (e.g. infrastructure, new products, promotions) and selects those that support companys strategy and optimize its commercial position.
- Develops financial plans, organizes product structure in a business logic way and supports/advises in decision making, investment and customer offers.
- Initiates, coordinates and tracks financial processes improvements and ensures the respect for financial standards and best practices.
- Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field.
- Relevant Masters degree in Accounting or any related field will be an added advantage.
- Formal Training in Banking Law/Regulation.
- Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in similar position.
- Experience in Auditing will be an added advantage.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good accounting and financial management skills
- Good industry Knowledge
- Good reconciliation skills (data entry /documentation)
- Environmental / industry analysis
- Financial analysis / interpretation
- Database Management Systems (DBMS)
