Description

Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Diagnose vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic equipment and your technical expertise.
- Carry out a wide range of automotive repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission fixes, brake replacements, electrical system repairs, and more.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Replace and source necessary parts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Conduct post-repair tests to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing explanations of repairs, estimates, and addressing any questions they may have.
- Keep the workshop and tools clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Stay informed about new automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and continuing education.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Have a valid Drivers license and PDP (will be doing Airport transfers from time to time)
- Knowledge of tourism would be a preferred
- German speaking will be advantageous
- Be available on weekends and public holidays for vehicle hand overs
- High school diploma or equivalent (Post-secondary automotive technology education is a plus).
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and a positive work attitude.
