Our esteemed client is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Cashier. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals who possess cashier experience, are fluent in both English and Afrikaans, and have a passion for providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities include cash handling:
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Count and verify cash register contents at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain correct change denominations and balance the register.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Grade 12 (or equivalent).
- Proven cashier experience to efficiently handle transactions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Additional administrative experience will be advantageous for this role.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Afrikaans to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a positive attitude.
- Basic computer knowledge to handle the point-of-sale system and related tasks.
- Must be available to start immediately
