We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Branch Managers to join our client's dynamic retail team in Lusaka, Zambia. If you have a passion for retail sales, store management, and achieving sales targets, this is the perfect opportunity for you
As a Branch Manager, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Efficiently managing store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and sales performance.
- Driving retail sales by implementing effective strategies and tactics to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing and motivating a team of sales associates, providing guidance and coaching to achieve optimal performance.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, including compliance with stock control measures.
- Conducting regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional activities.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail store management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of POS machines.
- Strong leadership qualities with previous staff management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
- Computer literate with a good understanding of inventory management systems.
- Minimum of 3 references from previous employers.
- Must be a Zambian citizen or possess valid work authorization in Zambia.
- A police clearance document will be requested.
