Purpose of the position:
To plan, organize and execute the strategic planning of operations by collating of data, preparation/building of business plans for analysis and to support decision making to ensure best operating practices, profitable business and sustainability.
Qualifications / Key Requirements:
4-year Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field with 10 years experience which at least 5 years should have been in a managerial capacity
Marketing knowledge
Finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
Advantageous : Management Accountant Qualification
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing growth strategies and plans
o Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
o Resourcing business opportunities and viable income streams
o Identify, prioritize, quantify, develop and manage new business ventures that are aligned with Kraatz growth and retention strategy
2. Developing the business
o Ensure increase of revenue by broadening revenue base and ensuring a constant revenue stream so that the future growth of the business is guaranteed, backed with the best strategic outcomes and strong financial outcomes
o Managing, nurturing, and retaining relationships
o Increase client base
o Increase exposure to potential product and international service providers
o Oversee the development of marketing literature
3. Short-term planning and decision support
o Drive innovation in the business
o Track and monitor performance of new initiatives
o Work with operational teams to identify new opportunities
o Plan and implement new opportunities
4. Management Accounting
o Assist in tracking and controlling sales budgets
o Provide support in analyzing financial and operational activities
Traveling required. 50% office based.
