PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide luxury wellness therapies and treatments, ensuring exceptional service and memorable spa experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of grade 12 plus a higher certificate.
- Formal Beauty and/ or massage Qualifications (Certificate or Diploma) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years beauty therapist experience in a 5-star or 4-star hotel or premium spa environment.
- Product Knowledge: Optiphi, Thalgo, Gelish.
- Computer Literacy : MS Office, MICROS, Materials Control, SpaGuru
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Deliver a personalized experience with commercial success whilst representing the spa in a professional and hospitable way.
- Accurately schedule all reservations, changes, confirms, and cancel massage reservations.
- Accurately process all billing and posting for spa services.
- Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicures/pedicures) safely and comfortably.
- Possess thorough knowledge of spa menus and products to assist guests by providing information and recommendations on all products and services within the spa.
- Maintain proficiency in all treatments offered at the spa & have a good working knowledge of all spa facilities.
- Communicate operational needs to management, as well as any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
- Articulate and maintain developed standards, product knowledge and grooming.
- Constantly monitor and check the quality-of-service delivery towards the guests and make sure the processes are speaking to the brand and the provided quality guideline.
- Ensure delivered service is consistent and meets/ exceeds guest experiences.
