PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide 2ndline mechanical maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, to execute planned, corrective, break-in work, condition based and preventative maintenance, as well as performing a structured approach in fault-finding and break down analysis on failed equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- N6/S4 Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 5 years mechanical experience (FMCG experience will be an added advantage)

Experience in technical drawings (Auto Cad)
,
pneumatics, fluid mechanics
,
power transmission and conveyors (TIG, arc and gas welding will be an added advantage)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare and execute planned maintenance activities
- Provide 2ndline breakdown support to the packaging lines
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Complete documentation/work orders and do proper record keeping of all improvements and modifications made on equipment
- Improve equipment and processes within the packaging plant
- Coach and train operators and mechanical apprentices
