To manage, track and report on the information technology infrastructure, systems and projects portfolio which includes planning, executing, and monitoring of projects from initiation to completion. To provide ATM and technical branch support whilst managing relevant teams, systems, IT assets and warehousing

experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor in IT Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Bachelor in IT Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

  • In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate business relationships with IT Infrastructure and Business Operations
  • Act as main point of contact for assigned IT projects and manage the delivery of IT Infrastructure projects within agreed scope, standards, budget, time scales, and tolerances
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
  • Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy
  • Manages stakeholder expectations and communication flow as they relate to project deliverables, scope, and the internal project team
  • Defines and manage team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities
  • Ensure that all risks and issues are captured and managed throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Manages vendor relationships as it relates to projects
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project
  • Manage technical infrastructure platforms that align with business expectations, and ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
  • Ensures that the IT section complies with audit requirements
  • Provide technical support for relevant systems in area of responsibility
  • Implement an infrastructure support strategy under span of control
  • Manage technical platform infrastructure and ensure installation of operating system upgrades and patches
  • Manage and control all IT Assets and Warehousing
  • Provide value driven insights in the managing of IT Assets from inception, distribution, warranty, replacement, and destruction
  • Maintain and update all the required hardware and software contracts and SLAs and ensure all service metrics are met
  • Draft and update required IT policies and procedures in area of responsibility
  • Perform monthly functionality testing
  • Manage incidents and resolve queries
