POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To clean and supply all assigned guest rooms according to standards as established by Mokuti Etosha.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Execute all housekeeping duties as laid out in the standard operating procedures
Clean rooms to the standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Ensure that rooms and or areas allocated to you are cleaned in the correct order and according to the procedures taught by trainers, maintaining the room arrangement specifications for guest supplies precisely
Assist on other floors when need arise
To report all room faults to your supervisor on time
Respect guest privacy as stated in the guest privacy standard
Hand over all keys at the end of the shift to your supervisor
Follow the health and safety requirements/standards during the execution of duties, e.g. use of protective clothing
Always check the quality of amenities, linen, bedding and whatever is going into the guest room and make sure its of acceptable standards
Ensure that all rooms are free of dust, cob webs, odors, stains and water marks
Ensure that you know how to operate all room equipment, e.g. safe box, TV, air conditioner, etc
Follow the lost and found items policy in the department.
Greet and assist guest in a friendly, prompt, courteous, efficient manner and with a smile
Always help/assist guest when they need help
Ensure that the grooming standards of the company are adhered to
Ensure that work area and storerooms are kept neat and tidy at all times
Perform any general additional tasks as and when the need may arise.
Adhere to company code of conduct and house rules at all times
