Finance Manager

Description

We are looking for a qualified Financial Manager/Senior Accountant to join our client in providing transport of various commodities with value added services and facilities. The ideal candidate will share their commitment to optimal transport and logistics solutions throughout sub-Saharan Africa and the rest of Africa. As a leader of the finance team, the manager will work together with like-minded professionals and constantly focus on sharpening their knowledge and skills so that the whole team stays at the top of the industry.

• Accounting up to Balance sheet
• Manage the Intergroup loan accounts
• Monthly Tax returns and annual tax returns
• Payroll calculations and payment
• Do preparations and manage the annual Audit file and liaising with Company Auditors
• Do KPI reports to group
• Making sure there is enough cash available on a daily basis through customer payments and cash call from group
• Liaising with Director to facilitate on time creditor payments like fuel/salaries etc

Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in accounting and finance
• At least 5 years in a similar role with relevant industry experience
• A general understanding of Foreign Exchange is required
• Proven experience in Financial Management and Accounting in Namibia
• Namibian Citizenship or Permanent Residence
• Knowledge of computerized accounting cost control systems, and their operations and applications
