PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Coordinate, manage and maintain the O&L Group Information Technology (IT) End User experience by engaging with stakeholders and implementing strategic IT solutions.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A 4-year formal qualification in Business Process Management including Information Systems and Technology.
  • Five (5) years relevant Information Technology experience in a corporate environment with 2 years Leadership /Supervisory experience.
  • Valid code 08 drivers license.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Management of O&L Group IT operations:

  • Coordinate, manage and maintain the Groups End User related IT support operations.
  • Advise on, communicate, and enforce the Group Information Technology standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the life cycle of End User applications, software, and devices such as PCs, Notebooks, servers, and LAN/WAN connectivity equipment for the Group operating companies.
  • Coordinate and perform acquisitions of Information Technology according to Group guidelines.
  • Identify and drive efficiency improvement opportunities for service delivery through leveraging tools, automation, and best practices.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by planning annual budgets; managing and controlling cost centre according to agreed budgets.
  • Manage projects by coordinating resources, timetables and financials with strategy, practices, and requirements.
  • Maintain quality of service by managing user requirements, business opportunities and IT service providers.
  • Coordinate and manage IT service level meetings with operating companies and IT service providers.
  • Perform IT service level monitoring, evaluations, and reporting.
  • Maintain positive end user relationships and drive customer satisfaction.

Management of external Consultants:

  • Manage Consultants according to international operational IS standards and ensure adherence to Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to existing IS team.

Management of O&L Centre IT environment:

  • Communicate and enforce Information Technology policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality of service by managing user requirements and service providers.
  • Coordinate and perform acquisitions of Information Technology .
