To supervise all aspects of the overall operation of the Control Room security staff and security service delivery within the FirstRand Namibia Group

  • Minimum Qualification - Grade 12

  • No Referral plan is assigned to this job

  • Serve as on-site contact between FNB Security Management and the Third-party Security Service provider, furthering a long-term and mutually beneficial business relationship
  • Supervise the daily operations of security officers (controllers)
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative functions such as Daily Security Recaps, Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, logs or as may be required from time to time
  • Prepare written reports, in a clear and concise method that meets the needs and requirements of the security department and the property management
  • Promote professionalism within the security team
  • Coordinate and monitor the operational effectiveness of the staff in delivery of services and with the assistance of the FNB Group Security Manager, develops, recommends, and implements necessary program changes
  • Ensure on-site compliance with FNB Security policies and procedures, as well as assisting in developing specific procedures that will improve and enhance the teams service delivery capabilities
  • Ensure the facility is fully staffed in accordance with all scheduling and staff requirements to include extra security assignments, in conjunction with the FNB Group Security Manager
  • Oversee the selection, orientation, development, and retention of security staff, ensure the facility has well qualified team members properly trained to carry out the organizations mission with assistance from FNB Group Security Manager
  • Ensure that all post orders and training materials are updated regularly, and Officers are trained thoroughly on security material
  • Monitor, advi se, and update FNB management contacts of all information regarding security issues.
  • Oversee and ensure security equipment is in excellent working condition and not mishandled or abused
  • Manage Security Personnel recommendations and adherence to the disciplinary code
  • Supervise control room and assist with Data mining
  • Implement and manage procedures for emergency situations for the Group.
  • In correlation with FNB Group Security Manager implement training and awareness process with the guarding personnel
